Foreigners from non-EU countries may apply for residency through international teleworking, which allows them to perform remote work or professional activities for entities situated outside the national territory, exclusively utilizing computer, telematic, and telecommunication tools and systems.
When engaging in work activities, individuals with international teleworking authorization are permitted to work solely for companies situated beyond the national borders.
When engaging in professional activities, the bearer of the international teleworking authorization may work for a Spanish company provided that such work constitutes no more than 20% of their total professional activity.

Types of Permissions and Duration:
Visa: When the applicant is outside of Spain, they can obtain a permit that allows them to reside and work throughout the entire country. The permit is valid for one year, unless the employment period is shorter, in which case the visa will match the duration of the work period.
After a year has passed, it is necessary to apply for a residence permit.
Residence Permit: Upon legal entry into Spain, the applicant will receive a three-year permit that allows them to reside and work anywhere within the national territory, should they choose to do so.
